Ribbon Colors and Meanings

Please be aware that multiple sites have multiple meanings and colors. There has not been one, universal list created. This is just what comes up most frequently. Also, there are many meanings for each color ribbon, and many more ribbons, but I tried to mainly stick with the cancer colors. I'd be happy to direct you to bigger lists. **Please keep in mind that I also deleted the other awarenesses that it may have covered, in order to stick with the cure and cancer themes.

*Pink Ribbon : Meaning: Most commonly associated with breast cancer awareness and childhood cancer awareness (alternative color: light blue) 

Yellow Ribbon : Meaning:  Bladder cancer.

*Purple Ribbon : Meaning: This color is a symbol of pancreatic cancer, testicular cancer, thyroid cancer.

Lavender Ribbon : Meaning: This color is a symbol for general cancer awareness.

Blue Ribbon : Meaning: This color is a symbol of colon cancer (alternative ribbon color: brown), colorectal cancer (alternative ribbon color: brown).

Light Blue Ribbon : Meaning:  prostate cancer

Teal Ribbon : Meaning: This color is a symbol for ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancers.

Green Ribbon : Meaning: This color is a symbol of  kidney cancer

Orange Ribbon : Meaning: This color is a symbol of leukemia.
 

White Ribbon : Meaning: This color is a symbol of bone cancer

Pearl Ribbon : Meaning: This color is a symbol for  lung cancer.

Black Ribbon: Malignant Melanoma

Brown Ribbon : Meaning: This color is  a symbol of colon cancer (alternative ribbon color: blue), colorectal cancer (alternative ribbon color: blue)

*Grey Ribbon : Meaning: This color is a symbol of  brain cancer

*Gold Ribbon : Meaning: This color is a symbol for childhood cancer

*Lime Green: Meaning: This color is a symbol for Lymphoma cancer.
